I love to support small businesses which are helping people to keep a roof over their head and supporting their family. Small Business Saturday is a great way to do this. Buying Christmas gifts from companies which may be local, or sell unique, or unusual gifts also helps to ensure that your gift stands out when it is unwrapped. To help make it easier for you to find great Christmas gifts for the children in your lives while supporting small businesses I have created this Small Business Kids Christmas Gift Guide.
Sweet Little Sew n Sews sells beautiful handmade crochet products. Their baby blankets and chunky baby booties make a lovely gift for new babies at any time of the year. Their Preemie Octopus at only £18 is fabulous for any newborn babies especially those born earlier than planned. The Octopus is said to remind newborns of the umbilical cord and give them comfort which in turn results in a lower heart rate, so this makes a great gift to help newborn babies feel safer and more settled as they transition into our world. A perfect Christmas gift for a baby!
For slightly older babies the Homemade Nesting Bowls priced at £18 are colourful, soft and a great alternative to stacking cups. When children get older they can use these gorgeous nesting bowls as treasure baskets. This soft and versatile toy is even washable!
For older children (and mum’s), I love Sweet Little Sew n Sews collection of hand warmers, boot cuffs and scarves which start from only £10! They come in a variety of designs and colours. As someone who is always cold these gorgeous products would be a very welcome gift beneath the tree.
Ada & Alfred make funky printed kids t-shirts and jumpers (and clothes for adults too). I love the neutral palette of black, white and grey and the logos printed on the kids tops are great – ‘Milk and Mayhem’ and ‘Cuddles and Chaos’ are my favourite! Ada & Alfred are a UK based company and print products to order so order quickly for Christmas delivery.
I love this Milk and Mayhem baby body suit priced at only £12 and made with 100% cotton.
I also love this Wild One t-shirt priced at £12 and made from 100% cotton.

I have been a fan of Kerrie Davis Jewellery for awhile now as her pieces are so beautiful and unique. Kerrie hand crafts wire wrapped jewellery and can make custom designs. I was thrilled to see that she now has some lovely hair sprays and combs which would make a fabulous gift for a little girl. They are perfectly suited for dance hair accessories and dressing up for parties.
I absolutely love this pretty Pink Quartz Hair Comb! It features titanium coated AB Quartz gemstones on a rose gold comb with matching wire. This beautiful gift can be bought in a range of colours including blue, white, grey and blue aura and costs £15.95.
I also adore this Crystal Hair Pin made with a silver comb, Swarovski crystals, glass pearls and glass crystals. This spray costs £15.95 and is a bridal accessory, perfect for flower girls, but would also be a great addition for a girls hair style for any party.
I love finding unique products and Croque-Maman stocks a beautiful selection of kids cooking tools among other fabulous items including games and educational gifts.
